Biography
- I was appointed to the University of Manchester in 1993and was appointed as chair in Neuroradiology in September 1995. Prior to this I was a full time NHS clinical neuroradiologist at the Manchester Royal Infirmary
- I became Professor of Radiology in 2003 as my research interests became more generalised in the area of cancer imaging.
- In 2013 I established the CRUK / EPSRC Cancer Imaging Center in Cambridge and Manchester with Colleagues Geoff Parker from Manchester and Kevin Brindle, Fiona Gilbert and Carlos Caldas from Cambridge
- I have honorary clinical consultant contracts at the Salford Hospitals NHS Trust and the Manchester Royal Infirmary
- I was appointed as Director of the Wolfson Molecular Imaging Center in 2008.
- My wife Susan is an anaesthetist and Intensivist and we have two children. Theodore and Alexandra
