Abdullah received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the St. Mary’s University, San Antonio, TX, USA, in 2015. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering. From 2015 to 2017, he was a Research Engineer with Robotics Technologies and Intelligent Systems, KACST. His research interests include data analysis, pattern recognition, sensor fusion, deep learning, and human gait analysis applications. The goal of his research, is to push the boundaries of knowledge on the effect of cognitive load on gait. This approach has clear potential in the areas of healthcare, biometrics and security.
